Frosinone Calcio is an Italian football club based in the city of Frosinone, Lazio. The team was founded in 1912 and has a long history that spans over a century.
The early years were marked by ups and downs as the team played in various regional leagues before finally making it to Serie C for the first time in 1959. However, they struggled to maintain their position and were relegated back down after just one season.
It wasn't until the late 1990s that Frosinone started to make significant progress towards becoming a more competitive team. In 1997, they won promotion from Serie D into Serie C2 where they remained for several seasons before eventually earning another promotion up to Serie B.
After spending several seasons bouncing between Italy's second-tier league and third-tier league (Serie C), Frosinone earned their first-ever promotion into Italy's top-flight division - Serie A - at the end of the 2014-15 season under manager Roberto Stellone.
Despite being relegated back down after just one season, this achievement cemented Frosinone's place among some of Italy's most historic clubs such as Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan etc., who have all competed at least once or twice on Europe’s biggest stage – UEFA Champions League.
Today,Forsionne continues its journey with new players, new strategies, and renewed hope every year,to achieve success both domestically & internationally .
